In The Early Hours Of Yesterday Morning, Six Fire Engines And Approximately 40 Firefighters Responded To A Fire At A Shop With Flats Above On Bloomfield Road In Plumstead

The building’s ground floor was destroyed by fire. Before the Brigade arrived, two adults and two children left a first-floor flat. There were no reported injuries.

The Fire Department was called at 12:47 a.m., and the fire was out by 2.54 a.m. Plumstead, East Greenwich, Sidcup, and other nearby fire stations sent crews to the scene.

The fire’s origin is being investigated.
