In a heart-wrenching development, an inquest has confirmed that four teenagers from the Shrewsbury area drowned following a car crash in Gwynedd, North Wales. The victims, identified as Wilf Fitchett, Jevon Hirst, Harvey Owen, and Hugo Morris, were found in an overturned and partially submerged vehicle.

The boys, one aged 16, two aged 17, and one aged 18, were discovered on Tuesday, 21 November, after they did not return from a camping trip. Their vehicle, a silver Ford Fiesta, was found upside down in water off the A4085 in Garreg, near Tremadog, approximately 75 miles (120km) from Shrewsbury.
