A hit-and-run has left a 70-something cyclist seriously injured near Knockholt railway station.
Cream Mini Crashes Into Elderly Cyclist
The shocking collision happened on Thursday 23 September 2021 at around 11am on Watercroft Road. The man, riding his bike towards Knockholt railway station, was hit by a cream Mini coming from Cadlocks Hill.
Driver Flees Leaving Victim Hospitalised
The driver didn’t stop at the scene, fleeing after the crash. The cyclist was rushed to a local hospital with serious back and shoulder injuries.
Police Hunt Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
“We are appealing for any witnesses to the incident to call the appeal line,” said investigating officer PC Charlotte Wilson.
“We are also asking motorists with dashcam footage from the area at the time to come forward.”
