Kent Police swooped on two would-be burglars caught red-handed trying to break into a High Street pub in Rochester.
Early Morning Crackdown
Just after 4am on Wednesday 15 April 2026, cops received a tip-off about two men clambering on a pub roof, fiddling with a window.
Quick Action Nets Suspects
Officers on patrol quickly surrounded the building and ordered the suspects down. Within seven minutes, two suspects were in cuffs.
Two Men Arrested Over Attempted Burglary
- 18-year-old from Sittingbourne
- 21-year-old from Sheerness
Both remain in custody, facing charges of attempted burglary.
