Councillor Sankey expressed her delight at Starmer’s visit, saying, “It was so nice to welcome Keir Starmer to Brighton Pavilion today in support of Tom Gray. I’ve known Keir for 20 years. He has integrity, is kind, and fiercely smart. He will be a transformative Prime Minister. Let’s get him elected & turn #Brighton red!”

Tom Gray shared his enthusiasm stating, “It’s incredible for Keir to have taken the time to visit our constituency on only the fourth day of the General Election campaign. A clear sign, were it needed, that Labour believes we can win Brighton Pavilion. Indeed, we must to form the next government. We discussed the importance of Labour’s plan to stop the Tory sewage crisis and clean up our sea. People here desperately want change.”
