Lanes 2, 3 And 4 (of 4) Of The A282 Southbound Between J1a And J1b Are Currently Closed, Affecting Traffic Travelling From Essex To Kent Via The Dartford Crossing

Lanes 2, 3 and 4 (of 4) of the A282 southbound between J1A and J1B are currently closed, affecting traffic travelling from Essex to Kent via the Dartford Crossing.

An earlier incident on the A282 southbound between J1A and J1B involving a broken down HGV is causing severe congestion for approaching traffic. The vehicle has been successfully removed from the carriageway, and lanes 2, 3, and 4 have been reopened. All lanes of traffic are now open.

Between the M25 clockwise at J29 in Essex and the A282 southbound at J1B in Kent, there are severe delays of at least 75 minutes.

Please allow extra travel time if these delays affect your planned route. Plan ahead of time; you may want to reroute or even postpone your trip.
