M3 closed Westbound following serious Collision
The M3 is now fully CLOSED westbound Junction 4 and Junction 5 due to the serious collision btwn J4a and J5. It is understood the police have closed the carriageway on westbound and eastbound to allow for the Air ambulance to land and transport those involved. Traffic that is stuck in the hard closure Westbound will be turned around at junction 4. Highways England have advised that the closure is likely to remain until at least 11.30pm this evening. M3 Northbound was closed to allow helicopter to land. Traffic still very slow but all lanes running. IT is understood that the collision is just after Junction 4A on the Westbound carriageway.
