M40 closed follow serious collision
The M40 southbound in Buckinghamshire is closed between J2 (Beaconsfield) and J1a (M25) due to a collision. Thames Valley Police and Highways England Traffic Officers are on scene. Drivers are being asked to follow the diversion around the closure. Exit at J2 and follow the route marked with a black diamond symbol on local road signs. This will take traffic from J2 north on the A355. At the next roundabout take the second exit on to the A40 southbound. Remain on the A40 to the Denham Roundabout (J1 of the M40). To access the M25 join the M40 northbound and continue to J1a and exit to the M25 (clockwise or anti-clockwise).
