Man attacked by group in Ramsgate alleyway

Witnesses are being sought to an assault in a Ramsgate alleyway. It was reported that a man in his 30s was standing by the alleyway between Wilfred Road and Newington Road between 9.30pm and 10.10pm on Tuesday 5 November 2019 when he was approached by a group of about 10 people. One of the group assaulted the victim and he received a single wound in the torso consistent with a stabbing which required hospital treatment. The victim was able to walk away and seek help. The group then moved in the direction of Station Approach Road. The suspect is described as a white boy aged in his late teens. He was believed to be 6ft 2ins tall. Anyone with information regarding the assault is asked to call Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting 46/212805/19.
