A 59-year-old man has tragically died in hospital a month after being struck by a car near the Esso petrol station on Tonbridge Road, Barming.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, 6 November, when the man was hit by a white Toyota H-CR as he crossed the A26 near the junction with Stanford Drive. The car was traveling from Maidstone toward Barming at the time.
The victim was airlifted to a London hospital for treatment but succumbed to his injuries on Friday, police confirmed today.
Appeal for Witnesses
Serious collision investigators are working to determine the circumstances of the incident and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
