A man has pleaded guilty to multiple traffic offences following a pursuit in Faversham. The incident began at around 10:15 am on Monday, 23 September 2024, when a Kent Police motorcyclist signalled for the driver of a flatbed truck to stop as it travelled along the A2 London Road. However, the vehicle failed to stop, leading to a police pursuit.
Detective Inspector Martin Davies thanked the local community for their assistance in the investigation. He stated, “I would like to thank the members of the public who responded to our appeal for information following this incident. The response from Faversham residents was outstanding and proved crucial to our investigation.

The sentencing hearing will determine the consequences of Higgins’ dangerous actions, which not only put officers at risk but also endangered public safety.
