Firefighters in Charlton recently executed a dramatic rescue operation to save a man trapped in a collapsed trench at a construction site.
The incident unfolded as our specially trained Urban Search and Rescue crews, alongside other operational colleagues, swiftly responded to the emergency. Upon arrival at the scene, the firefighters immediately began efforts to excavate sand and clay from the trench, aiming to increase access and rescue the trapped individual while also stabilizing the area to prevent further collapse.
