A Metropolitan Police officer will appear in court later this week after an incident in which a man suffered life-changing injuries following the use of a Taser.
PC Liam Newman, 30, who is based at Ilford Police Station, is charged with grievous bodily harm and will face Westminster Magistrates’ Court on November 20.
