In a chilling development that has shocked the community of Salford, Greater Manchester, police have launched a murder investigation following the discovery of a human torso wrapped in plastic at Kersal Dale Nature Reserve. A 20-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of murder on Saturday night, as confirmed by Greater Manchester Police.

The gruesome find was made on Thursday in the scenic but now tainted Kersal Dale, near Radford Street. Chief Superintendent Tony Creely addressed the press on Sunday morning, revealing that the remains belonged to a man believed to be over 40 years old, who had only been deceased for a few days.
