Murder Manhunt Launched After Woman Shot in the Head at Kent Pub on Valentine’s Day

A manhunt is underway after a woman in her 40s was shot twice in the head at the Three Horseshoes pub in Knockholt, Kent, on Friday night (February 14, 2025), in front of horrified customers.

Gunman Flees After Pub Shooting

Kent Police were called to the Three Horseshoes pub on Main Road, Knockholt, at 7:02 PM, following reports of a disturbance.

Pub Closed as Police Hunt for Suspect

The Three Horseshoes pub confirmed its closure following the incident, posting on Facebook:
The Three Horseshoes will be CLOSED today, Saturday 15th February, following a tragic incident outside the pub last night. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Hopefully, we will be open on Sunday as usual. Thank you.”

Damaged Car Found at Scene

A Seat vehicle, reportedly linked to one of the involved parties, was found near the pub’s car park with a smashed front passenger window. Two open drink cans were also spotted inside the car.

Police Appeal for Information

Kent Police have not confirmed whether the shooting was a targeted attack, but officers are actively searching for the suspect.

A spokesperson for Kent Police said:
*”Officers attended the scene along with South East Coast Ambulance Service, where a woman in her 40s had suffered serious injuries.

The suspect, a man believed to be known to the victim, left the area and is currently outstanding.

Enquiries to locate him and to establish the full circumstances are ongoing.”*

Police are urging anyone with information about the suspect’s whereabouts to come forward.
