Officers investigating a fatal collision in Herne Bay are appealing for witnesses to come forward

Kent Police was called at 8.30pm on Friday 6 September 2024 to a report of a collision on the A2990, Old Thanet Way involving a car and a pedestrian walking a dog.

A black taxi was travelling towards Herne Bay when the collision occurred between the Chestfield and Greenhill roundabouts. 

Anyone who saw what happened, or who may have dashcam footage of the collision, or CCTV, should call the appeal line on 01622 798538 quoting reference RY/SS/095/24. You can also email [email protected].
