Three people have been taken to hospital following a serious house fire in Brockley, south-east London this morning.
A spokesperson said:
“We were called at 8.06am to reports of a fire in Brockley Road, Brockley. We treated three patients at the scene and took them all to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
The condition of the three patients has not yet been confirmed.

At least four fire engines remain at the scene, with crews working alongside police and paramedics to make the area safe.
Travel disruption
The incident has caused significant disruption in the area. Adelaide Avenue remains closed, and congestion has built up on Brockley Road back towards Crofton Park. Bus diversions are in place, with the 122 route currently affected.
Ongoing response
Residents reported thick smoke and a large emergency service presence throughout the morning. Firefighters are still on scene hours later, though the fire is now under control.
The cause of the blaze is not yet known, and an investigation will be launched once it is safe to enter the building.
