Person killed after being struck by a train in Bromley

A person has been killed after they were struck by a train at Bromley South station. Emergency services were called to busy station, at 5.26am on Wednesday morning to reports of a person the live tracks between the platforms on Police and Paramedics attended at attempted to save the person’s life, despite their best efforts the person was pronounced dead at the scene. A British Transport Police spokesman said: “Officers were called at 5.26am on May 22 following a report of a casualty on the tracks at Bromley South station. LAS attended and sadly a person has since been pronounced dead. “Officers are currently to trace the person’s next of kin.
