Police Appeal for Lorry Driver After Fatal M25 Crash

Police are urgently searching for the driver of a lorry involved in a fatal crash on the M25, which resulted in the death of a motorcyclist in his 40s. The collision occurred on Wednesday, September 26, between junctions 5 and 6, which links Kent and Surrey, around 12:30 PM.
Detective Inspector Pete Greaves, who is leading the investigation, emphasized the importance of locating the lorry driver. “We would particularly like to trace the owner of the lorry, who may not have been aware of the severity of the collision and who left the scene. We would urge the driver to contact us as soon as possible,” he said.

Police are also appealing to motorists who may have dashcam footage of the incident or of the vehicles involved prior to the crash to come forward. This footage could prove vital in determining the events leading up to the tragic collision.
