Police Charge Portsmouth Man over Virgin Media Shop Siege
A Portsmouth man has been charged by Police with assault and threatening people with a knife after Police sealed off the Virgin Media shop in the centre of Portsmouth on Saturday. In a statement released this evening Hampshire police confirmed a 20-year-old man from Portsmouth is being held in custody tonight, following a three-hour armed stand-off inside the Virgin Media store yesterday. He will appear at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court tomorrow morning.
