Shocking Attack on Train from Liverpool to London

British Transport Police are hunting a man following the horrific sexual assault of a disabled passenger on a train heading from Liverpool Lime Street to London Euston.

The attack happened shortly after 9pm on Thursday, 6 November 2025, sparking an urgent investigation. Detectives have now released CCTV images of a man they believe holds vital information.

Suspect Caught on Camera

The man wanted by police is described as white, middle-aged, with short light-brown hair. At the time, he wore a distinctive grey and black jacket with a white stripe across the chest, a light grey hoodie underneath, and carried a black Nike backpack – the brand name clearly showing on the strap.

Officers hope these details will help witnesses to identify the suspect and come forward.

“Just after 9pm on Thursday 6 November, a disabled man was sexually assaulted whilst on a train from Liverpool to Euston railway station. Officers would like to speak to the man pictured, as they believe he may have information that would help their investigation.” – British Transport Police
