Police Investigating An Assault Of An 81 Year Old Pensioner On-board A Train Between Liverpool Central And James Street Stations Are Releasing This Image Of A Suspect
 
At just before 3pm on 19 April, the first victim, a 71-year-old woman, was sat in an unoccupied seat when a man approached her and subjected her to a torrent of abuse.

As he continued to shout in her face the second victim, an 81-year-old man, stepped in and told him to leave the woman alone. The man responded by shouting “she was in my [expletive] seat” and punching the second victim in the eye.

Two members of rail staff removed the man from the service at James Street station.
