A police pursuit in Walthamstow led to a multi-vehicle collision after a car failed to stop for officers on Palmerstone Road, E17, on Sunday, 5 January 2025, at 11:10 a.m.
The vehicle in question collided with two other cars, causing minor injuries to the occupants of those vehicles.
Driver Arrested, Taken to Hospital
The driver of the fleeing vehicle was arrested at the scene and taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure. Authorities have confirmed that his injuries are not life-threatening.
Road Closure and Investigation Underway
Palmerstone Road remains closed to traffic while Metropolitan Police conduct an investigation into the circumstances of the collision.
A police spokesperson stated:
