A second eight-year-old girl is now in a life-threatening condition after a car crashed into a primary school in Wimbledon, southwest London. This comes as tributes were left for another eight-year-old girl who tragically lost her life in the same incident. A 46-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and has since been released on bail until a later date this month, according to police.

The crash occurred during a garden party organized to celebrate the end of the school year at The Study Preparatory School. A total of 16 people were treated at the scene, with 12 individuals subsequently taken to the hospital for further care.
