A major emergency response was launched this afternoon following a stabbing incident in Slade Green, South East London.

The incident occurred at approximately 3:30pm near the Little Days Nursery, with multiple Metropolitan Police units, as well as the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance, called to the scene.

A crime scene has been established around the area, with officers cordoning off a section of the road as forensics teams and investigators work on-site. IT is understood that the incident took place within a property.

Air Ambulance Lands Nearby

Witnesses described a heavy emergency presence, including several marked police vehicles and paramedics, as the air ambulance landed in a nearby open space to assist the injured.

The condition of the victim has not yet been confirmed. No arrests have been announced, and the motive for the stabbing remains unknown at this early stage.

We have reached out to the Metropolitan Police and the London Ambulance Service for official statements and further details. The nursery is not believed to be directly involved, but its proximity has raised concerns among local families.
