A 46-year-old man is fighting for his life in hospital following a serious crash involving an e-bike and a car in Stamford Hill, Hackney.
Emergency services were called to the scene at the junction of Northfield Road and Stamford Hill shortly after 8pm on Thursday, April 24.

Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service, including a trauma team from London’s Air Ambulance, responded swiftly. The e-bike rider was found with life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital as a priority. His condition has since been confirmed as critical.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said:
Police were called to the Northfield Road junction with Stamford Hill at 20:07hrs on Thursday, 24 April following reports of a road traffic collision.
Officers attended the scene where a man on an e-bike had reportedly been in collision with a car.
The 46-year-old man remains in a critical condition after suffering life-threatening injuries.
No one else was injured in the incident. No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.”
The police have urged any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of the collision to come forward. Witnesses are asked to call 101, quoting reference 7077/24Apr.
The road was temporarily closed while emergency services worked at the scene, and investigators are continuing to examine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
