Stations in Sydenham and Beckenham have been plagued by a series of defibrillator thefts since January, with four devices stolen from New Beckenham and Lower Sydenham stations.

British Transport Police" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-wpil-monitor-id="28829">British Transport Police (BTP) officers have released a CCTV image of a man who may have information that could assist their investigation. The most recent incident occurred around 8 pm last Monday (June 17) at New Beckenham station. A 999 call was made by someone claiming the station defibrillator was needed for an emergency. When the code for the defibrillator cabinet was provided, the device was stolen.
