The A27 is closed westbound between the A259 (east) and the A259 (west) in Chichester following a multiple vehicle collision in which one of the vehicles has overturned

  Sussex police are on scene and leading the response with recovery arranged and en route fire crews from West Sussex and Hampshire and the Isle of Wight have also been called to support officers at the incident.

Diversion Route: 

Road users are advised to follow the Hollow Triangle diversion symbol on road signs: 

• Exit the A27 at Fishbourne Roundabout.
• Take the 1st exit onto the A259 Westbound.
• Follow the A259 to the A27 Emsworth Intersection.
• Re-join the A27 westbound.
