On Monday, 1 January at 21:50hrs officers on patrol in Prince Charles Road, SE3, attempted to stop a Vauxhall Corsa.
The vehicle did not stop and a police pursuit was authorised involving two police vehicles.
At about 10.15pm the vehicle collided with a bus and both police vehicles in Shooters Hill, SE18.
Three officers were taken to hospital where they received treatment. They have since been discharged.
The driver and two passengers in the other vehicle were not injured. All three men were arrested at the scene and they remain in custody.
There were road closures while emergency services dealt with the incident.
