Three rescued off West Pole after Yacht Sinks off Hayling Island
Three males from overwhelmed vessel on Hayling Island’s West Pole Sands this afternoon. Hayling Lifeboat and Hayling Rescue attended following a mayday sent on a portable radio. The Yacht sank on Chichester Bar today at just after 1pm on Sunday. The three rescued where taken back to the lifeboat station to warm up.
