Three people have been taken to hospital following a police incident in Stockwell Green, SW9 during the early hours of this morning.
Emergency Response
The London Ambulance Service (LAS) confirmed they were called to the scene at 4:01 AM after receiving reports of an incident.
A spokesperson for LAS said:
*”We sent resources to the scene, including ambulance crews, a paramedic in a fast response car, an incident response officer, and London’s Air Ambulance.
The first of our crews arrived within five minutes.
Our crews treated three patients at the scene before taking them to hospital.”*
Police Investigation Underway
The Metropolitan Police have not yet provided further details on the nature of the incident, the condition of those injured, or whether any arrests have been made.
Traffic Disruptions
Stockwell Green was closed between Landor Road and Stockwell Road earlier this morning due to the police response, causing significant delays.
