Three vehicles turn into fireball on the M2 in Kent

The M2 in Kent has been closed following a serious collision. Kent Fire and Rescue Service and other emergency services are dealing with a crash involving three cars that have caught fire, between junction 6 for Faversham/Ashford and junction 7 for Canterbury. The road is closed in both directions. Three fire engines and a bulk water carrier are in attendance, and three casualties are being assessed by SECAmb paramedics. Update: The M2 is experiencing long delays of over 40 mins eastbound/coastbound between J5 and J7. Traffic has been released and is now running past the scene on the opposite carriageway in all lanes.
