A devastating collision in Hackney has claimed the life of a young man named Harry Webb. The 27-year-old, originally from Powys, Wales, had been residing in Hackney at the time of the incident.

Authorities have informed Webb’s family about the heartbreaking news and are providing them with the necessary support through specially trained officers. This tragic incident has left the community in shock and mourning.

The Metropolitan Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit is actively seeking help from anyone who witnessed the collision or possesses footage of the incident. Detectives are urging individuals with any information to come forward and assist with their ongoing investigation.

The incident occurred on Sunday, 10 September, at approximately 19:40 BST when officers were called to Kenworthy Road, E9. Webb, who was cycling at the time, was involved in a collision with a car that subsequently collided with another vehicle. Emergency services swiftly arrived at the scene and transported Webb to the hospital. Tragically, he succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday, 12 September.

A 24-year-old woman, who was driving the car involved in the collision, has been arrested in connection to the incident. She has been released on bail, pending further inquiries, scheduled for early December.
