Emergency crews rushed to the scene just after 10:30am after a person was spotted on the railway tracks. Despite their rapid response, paramedics pronounced the individual dead at the scene.
No Suspicious Circumstances
Police have confirmed there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death. A report is being prepared for the coroner as investigations continue.

Train services between Beckenham and Herne Hill have been suspended following the incident, causing delays and disruption for commuters in the area.
