A devastating crash between a bus and a moped in Chadwell St Mary, south Essex, on New Year’s Eve has resulted in the tragic loss of a 27-year-old man. The accident occurred at the junction of Chadwell Hill and Brentwood Road, prompting immediate response from emergency services.
In the aftermath of the incident, Essex Police temporarily closed off Chadwell Hill and a section of nearby Adelaide Road in Tilbury as part of their response efforts. These road closures remained in place throughout the early hours of New Year’s Day but have since been lifted.
