A man is trapped inside a plane that crashed at an Upminster airfield.
At around 12.09pm today, emergency services were called to the Damyns Hall aerodrome.
Six fire engines and approximately 40 firefighters were dispatched to the scene.
A woman was rescued from the plane, and crews are still working to save the other man who was on board.
According to reports, they both suffered minor injuries, including broken ankles.

The incident was attended by crews from Hornchurch, Wennington, East Ham and Dagenham.
Last year, a pilot was seriously injured after collapsing during a training session with a display team.

‘Firefighters are working with partners to free a man trapped inside a lightweight aircraft near the aerodrome,’ said Station Commander Jeremy Davies, who is on the scene.
Crews have released a woman who is being treated on the scene by London Ambulance Service crews,’ says the statement.

Police were called at 12.12hrs today to reports of a light aircraft that crashed shortly after take-off in the area of Aveley Road, Upminster,’ said a Met Police spokesperson.
We are there, as is LAS. A man and a woman were apprehended. Neither was determined to have life-altering or life-threatening injuries.’
