Two Teenagers Charged with the Murder of Woolwich Boy

Two teenagers have been charged with the murder of 14-year-old Kelyan Bokassa in Woolwich last week.
Emergency services, including paramedics from the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance, attended the scene. Despite their best efforts, Kelyan succumbed to his injuries shortly after medics arrived. His family is being supported by specialist officers during this difficult time.

Following a manhunt led by the Metropolitan Police’s Specialist Crime Command, three arrests were made on Wednesday, 15 January. Among those arrested was a 44-year-old woman, who was detained on suspicion of assisting an offender. She has since been released under investigation.

The investigation into Kelyan’s death continues, and police urge anyone with information to come forward by calling 101, quoting reference 3795/07JAN, or contacting Crimestoppers anonymously at 0800 555 111.
