Tube Union, RMT, Secures Pay Rise on London Underground

As the weekend approaches, it’s essential to stay informed about planned Transport for London (TfL) closures to avoid any disruptions to your travel plans.

From Friday to Sunday, several stations will either be closed or partly closed to facilitate essential maintenance work across the London Underground, Overground, and Elizabeth Line.

Friday, April 19:

  • London Overground: From Monday, April 15, to Thursday, April 18, after 23:45 each evening, there will be no westbound service from Stratford to Camden Road.
  • Tram: From Good Friday, March 29, until Wednesday, April 24, there will be no service between Wellesley Road / George Street and Beckenham Junction / Elmers End / New Addington.
  • Waterloo & City Line: Service operates Monday to Friday between 6 am and 12:30 am only. There is no service on Saturdays, Sundays, and public/bank holidays.

Saturday, April 20:

  • Tram: Continuation of the closure between Wellesley Road / George Street and Beckenham Junction / Elmers End / New Addington.
  • Waterloo & City Line: Service operates Monday to Friday between 6 am and 12:30 am only. There is no service on Saturdays, Sundays, and public/bank holidays.

Sunday, April 21:

  • DLR: On Sunday, April 21, which is London Marathon Day, a modified service will operate until 16:00. Services from Tower Gateway will operate to Lewisham, starting earlier at 05:30, with all other services starting at 07:00.
  • Elizabeth Line: Until 06:35, there will be no service between Paddington and Heathrow / Reading.
  • Tram: Continuation of the closure between Wellesley Road / George Street and Beckenham Junction / Elmers End / New Addington.
  • Waterloo and City Line: Service operates Monday to Friday between 6 am and 12:30 am only. There is no service on Saturdays, Sundays, and public/bank holidays.
