Woman found dead in Kingston flat Fire
Two fire engines and 14 firefighters and officers were called to reports of a small cooking fire at a flat in Excelsior Close in Kingston this morning. A woman was rescued by crews wearing breathing apparatus but sadly she was pronounced dead at the scene. The Brigade was called at 0030 and the incident was over for firefighters at 0106. Fire crews from Kingston and Surbiton fire stations attended the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
