Woman steals 1k of Sunglasses in Basingstoke
Police are investigating after a woman stole over £1,000 worth of sunglasses from Boots, in Basingstoke Malls, yesterday (May 11). The incident happened between 11.50am and noon. Designer sunglasses including Versace, Givency and Ray Bans were stolen. It is alleged the woman concealed the glasses in her clothing, before leaving the shop. The woman is described as: – White (olive-skinned) – About 25-30-years-old – About 5’ 7” tall – Medium build – Long black hair – At the time of the incident she was wearing a grey cardigan, dark trousers, black Nike trainers, with a white sole and white Nike ‘tick’ logo and was wearing a bracelet.
