London emergency services have dealt with a series of serious incidents across the capital in the past 48 hours, ranging from a firearm arrest at Elm Park Underground station to a fall from height in the City.

Firearm Incident at Elm Park Station

British Transport Police confirmed they were called just after 7am on Wednesday, 19 June, to reports of a man in possession of a firearm at Elm Park Underground station.

A spokesperson said:

“Officers attended, and a 61-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm and taken into custody.”

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

Later the same day, at 10.30pm, emergency services were called to a collision involving a scooter and a cyclist at the junction of Cannon Street and Queen Street.


These incidents form part of a concerning spike in serious emergency callouts across London this week. Authorities are urging the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious behaviour immediately.
