Woman who was killed by a train near Faversham has been named as Bonnie Yendell.

A young woman hit and killed by a train on a level crossing at Monkshill Road, Graveney near Faversham yesterday, has been named as 28-year-old Bonnie Yendell. The train driver is said to have sounded his horn for 5-10 seconds, but she did not get out of the way. Police say a woman was hit and killed by a train at the level crossing between Faversham and Whitstable shortly before 2pm on Sunday afternoon. There are no suspicious circumstances.
