Greater Manchester Police have initiated a murder investigation following the death of a 30-year-old man in the early hours of Tuesday, 23 January 2024. The incident occurred on the A34 Kingsway, at the junction of Parrs Wood Lane to Queensway, Manchester.
Authorities were alerted to a serious incident shortly before 1.40am where the victim was assaulted. Despite the efforts of emergency services at the scene and in the hospital, the man succumbed to his injuries. Family members have been notified and are receiving support from specially trained officers.
