Police have launched a fresh appeal, offering a hefty £20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of those responsible for the murder of 26-year-old Daneche Tison.
Queen’s Park Shooting Shocker
In the early hours of 19 July 2022, officers rushed to Bruckner Street in Queen’s Park following reports of a shooting outside a block of flats. Although no victim or suspect was found at the scene, Daneche Tison later arrived at the hospital with fatal gunshot wounds.
Tragically, Daneche died from his injuries, leaving the community desperate for justice.
Investigation Stalls But Hope Remains
Despite several arrests, no charges have been brought against anyone. As the fourth anniversary of Daneche’s death nears, detectives are not giving up.
The case will be featured on BBC’s Crimewatch Live on Thursday, 19 March, in a bid to jog memories and spark new leads.
Detective’s Plea for Justice
“Our thoughts remain with the victim’s family and loved ones, who have had to live with the knowledge that Daneche’s killer is still at large,” said Detective Sergeant Andy Sheppard from Specialist Crime South.
