Trading standards officers have smashed a massive £3.1 million stash of fake luxury goods in Bury. The haul, uncovered during a multi-agency intelligence-led swoop, includes over 5,000 counterfeit items.

Raids on four linked storage units revealed 5,459 fake items, ranging from footwear and clothing to bags, watches, and accessories. One unit even had shelves and packaging stations set up to process and ship the dodgy goods.

Brands Faked Include:

  • Louis Vuitton
  • Dior
  • Hermès
  • Christian Louboutin
  • Prada
  • Burberry
  • Canada Goose

Council Comments on the Bust

“The current estimated street value of the seized items from this one case is approximately £3.1 million, a figure expected to rise as additional brand assessments are received,” said a council spokesman. “There were so many goods that it took a whole day to remove them from the premises and put into secure storage. “This operation demonstrates strong cross‑agency collaboration and reflects the continued commitment of trading standards to tackling large‑scale counterfeit supply chains connected to wider criminality.”

Details remain tight as the criminal investigation continues. But this big catch sends a loud warning to counterfeiters running illegal designer rings.
