A fierce fire erupted in the basement of a block of flats on All Saints Avenue this Monday afternoon, sparking a major emergency response.

Seven Fire Engines Battle Flames

Kent Fire and Rescue Service rushed to the scene at 3.17pm with seven fire engines. Firefighters decked out in breathing apparatus hammered the blaze with main jets, while a positive-pressure ventilation fan cleared smoke from the building.

No Injuries, but Suspicious Fire Under Investigation

Miraculously, no injuries were reported. Kent Police have joined the investigation, treating the cause of the fire as suspicious.
