A man in his 30s was seriously injured in a shooting on Greasbro Road, Tinsley, Sheffield, late Sunday night.
Armed Police Rush to the Scene
Police were called at 10:55pm after reports of gunfire. Armed officers found the victim with serious injuries. He remains in hospital in stable condition. Greasbro Road stayed cordoned off into Monday as investigations continued.

Detective Inspector Laura Procter, South Yorkshire Police, said: “This is a terrible incident that has left a man with potentially life-altering injuries.” “Gun crime has no place in South Yorkshire. It is not acceptable on our streets, and we will relentlessly pursue those responsible, but we cannot do this alone.” “We urge anyone with doorbell, dashcam, or CCTV footage from the Greasbro Road area to come forward.”
The force is following several leads to catch those behind the senseless shooting.
