Reading Man Jailed Over Brutal Sexual Assault
A 37-year-old man from Reading has been locked up for over five years following a shocking sexual assault.

Ade Jerry, of Iliffe Close, Reading, was handed a five-year and four-month prison sentence at Reading Crown Court on Friday, June 14. He was found guilty of sexual assault by penetration after a gruelling ten-day trial.
Crime Details
The vile attack took place at 3.30am on March 24, 2018, inside a property on Friar Street, Reading. The victim, a woman in her twenties, bravely stood up against her attacker during the court case on February 7 this year.

Investigating officer DC James Woodcock said: “I would like to pay tribute to the victim in this case, who has bravely given evidence in court and assisted with the investigation. Thames Valley Police takes all reports of sexual assault incredibly seriously and will thoroughly investigate to bring offenders like Jerry to court to face justice.”
