Man in 60s Stabbed Outside Colchester Kebab Shop – Police Appeal for Witnesses

Late-Night Stabbing Shocks Colchester

Just before 1.30am on Sunday 23 May, police on patrol found a man in his 60s stabbed outside Bodrum Kebab House on Crouch Street, Colchester. The victim was rushed to hospital with serious injuries but has since been released.

Suspect Arrested Quickly on Suspicion of GBH

Officers launched an immediate search and arrested an 18-year-old local man believed to be involved. He remains in custody, held on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.

Police Ask Public to Come Forward

Detectives want anyone who saw the assault or has dash cam or doorbell footage to get in touch. You can report information via the police website or call Colchester CID on 101. Quote incident number 114 of 23 May.
