Motorcyclist Airlifted following Wroxhall Collison
Emergency Service have been called to attend a collision on a road between Ventnor and Wroxall this morning. All three services are at the scene. The Hampshire and Isle of Wight air ambulance are also at the scene treating a motorcyclist who has been in collision with a blue Hyundai. Officers from the Armed response roads policing have put in a closure and launched an investigation the man in his 40’s has been airlifted from the scene with a suspected broke Pelvis and arm injuries to Southampton General Hospital. His injuries are thought to be serious. Hampshire Constabulary spokesman said: “ Officers were called at 9.49am to a collision involving a car and a motorbike on Newport Road. “ Male motorcyclist has been injured”
